Comfortable, lightweight and multifunctional – the Blueridge ES is a versatile, lightweight hiking boot equipped with numerous sustainable features. In addition to the durable Perwanger upper leather and 100% recycled upper fabric (produced according to Global Recycling Standard), this includes above all the completely PFC-free membrane. Waterproof, breathable, sustainable – this polyurethane membrane is based on a complex hydrophilic system that achieves waterproofness and breathability while completely eliminating the use of fluorocarbons. The whole thing is used as a stable 3-layer laminate. The material used in the Blueridge ES comes exclusively from European suppliers, therefore the shoe is manufactured entirely in Europe. However, durability and sustainability do not come at the expense of function and comfort! The Blueridge ES proves this with a perfect fit and a newly developed midsole: A raised sole edge made of stabile PU provides additional support around the foot and at the heel. With the non-slip Terragrip outsole with 4-mm tread depth including its large – adapted to the female anatomy – studs with a wide contact surface, the foot not only rolls easily and harmoniously, the modern designed Blueridge ES feels so comfortable on a variety of surfaces – from autumnal, wet low mountain ranges to Mediterranean, sandy coastal hiking trails.
